Ted,I’ll make an executive decision here and allow the Telemetrum GPS altimeter.My intent in using NAR approved altimeters was to avoid sub standard or primitive altimeters, not to prevent quality GPS altimeters from being used.Chad

Ted, as several of us are using TeleGPS etc. we do need to coordinate frequencies better.Thanks for the recon. Black flies are a real nuisance.

I was out near the launch site and boy were the black flies annoying.I recommend long pants, since they seem to favor ankles, and bug repellent.The prairie is still pretty green, though.

NCR will be broadcasting live from the LCO table!I’ve got a list of “hopefully” unused frequencies but I’ll have to check them out when we get there. There should be plenty of power to cover the immediate field.Look forward to…   Read more»

Great post flight trauma analysis. I wouldn’t have thought the expanding foam, once set up, would be subject to mushing when briefly heated but that certainly explains the gooey residue on your parachute.
