I’d have to say that looks like a gorgeous job. Makes you wish you had some hand-laid carbon fiber tube instead of PF green tubing…Nice pictures and a damn nice job. Hope I’m there to see it fly.

I still have an un-opened Estes Little Joe II kit from 1968 that I could upscale but probably will not. Ha Ha HaRemember, if the women don’t find you handsome, at least they will find you handy.

I’ve snagged a few Estes kits to use as guides. I am also shooting for 2012.Now all I need is 12 feet of 8 inch dia fiberglass 😉

As I understand the contest rules, I have until January 2012, I think at the club meeting, to pay my entrance fee(s) and the flying will be at MHM in 2012, so since we stilll have more than 13 months… Read more»

That is basically what the o-rings in my design are doing. I add about .25″ total length to my e-bay for having two o-rings added on. I also chose o-rings because they are available in many sizes.Edward

Ordered an assortment of 3 inchish (actually slightly lessish) o-rings today from the McCaster place.I think I like this better than the plumbing plugs, and it takes up less space. :)WELL…..nun of those worked. bigest was 1/8″Just ordered 3/16″ and… Read more»
