I was going to hit Ft. Collins Plastics on the way up to the annual meeting. They only carry .010″ mylar in stock. Will that work OK? Do I need to use a wax or release agent on the mylar?

I use teflon coated polyester fabric for peel-ply. Breather fabric is breather fabric – essentially the same as what quilters use to fill between the layers of their quilts.I use Fiberglast.com or Aircraft Spruce for my supplies. Good prices, quick… Read more»

The types I have used are teflon-coated fiberglass, and coated polyester. The FG is nice and flat and smooth, but it doesn’t conform to shapes with compound curves much at all, so I’d only use that for flat plates and… Read more»
