I don’t know about sewing lines back on. I know with my sewing ability it would be a recipe for disaster. Always Ready Rockerty has surplus chutes with lines fairly reasonable.http://www.alwaysreadyrocketry.com/products/chutes.html

People don’t use much kevlar for a few reasons:1) It’s very difficult to cut.2) It soaks up epoxy like it’s going out of style3) It tends to end up very heavy for a given quantity of fabric (this is related… Read more»

Yeah, this is a pretty long rocket, and there aren’t any full L motors now in 54mm, so I don’t think we will break 30k tomorrow even if we hit it with the L930 Imax.
