edward replied to the topic "Equipment, Trailer Cleanup" – 6 years, 7 months ago
I would think that we could clean the equipment up before one of big launches next year. No use to clean it and then have it get wet and dirty at the winter launches.Edward

Altus Metrum – http://www.altusmetrum.org/Bdale and Keith offer up about the best options going, if they are back at it. Bdale lost most of everything in the Black Forest Fire but has been recovering nicely. Local and very much a flyer.

Possibly the Hughes Stadium property, owned by CSU. There is a dirt and gravel overflow lot near the disc golf course that I’ve seen people use. But I’m unaware as to the legalities or permissions needed. (forwarded to Kirk’s email)

Of topic, but the arctic minimum ice pack is up this year as compared to last year, but still well below the average areal coverage.

Don’t you mean global cooling? The polar arctic ice pack is reported in recent days to have exploded in size. Can global warming cause this?

The higher grass (what there is of it) is bone-dry, and the Buffalo Grass is like walking on toast. I don’t think any amount of rain will green it back up at this point.
