Even Event Horizon used 2″ nylon. I, personally use Kevlar, from Tim Thomas, since I burned nylon once and lost the top of my rocket and a certification. The Kevlar has never failed me, not even once. Whatever you use,… Read more»

Good rule of thumb says a shock cord should be four to five times the length of the rocket. 9/16 tubular nylon should be alright. If you use an electrician chain or pirate chain method in the cords that helps… Read more»

the newest inside info is that apparently, DOJ has the option of appealing and requesting a stay not ATFE. Since this is DOJ’s decision, they(ATFE) don’t know yet if that will happen.They are saying they may know something next week.JamesR
