I used a standard alkaline 9V with my PF timer on the Big Daddy. I had lots of room and weight was not an issue.Ron

Not laughing! Interesting solution. Why not just use a high current timer (PerfectFlite)? If you’ve got the batteries, it will handle around 30A. Small and relatively cheap as well.Ken
