Okay, Im guessing you want the thrust ring so your motor doesn’t fly through your rocket. I would suggest taking the thrust ring off, and putting a two inch coupler piece glued in right above the motor so it cant… Read more»

Mike, I am using the motor as a coupler 🙂 similar to my H and I rockets (if you have ever seen them up close?) so I can’t do as you suggest…

So what about just taking the thrust ring out totally and doing a bulkhead with all thread and just screw the motor in with a wrap of tape to help hold it in place?

I happened to find it when looking for the small A cluster altitude rocket that I launched as the 2nd to the last launch of MHM. It was only 80 yards SE from the pad.
