Prairie dogs were eliminated this morning, but only at 350 yds; AR in .223/5.65 NATO. Still a good time.

I did the Nucla Prarie Dog Shoot a couple times back in the 90’s…. nothing like exploding plague infested rodents with a .222 or a .25-250 from 400 yards off a bench. Lots of good local homebrew beer too. WAY… Read more»

For what it is worth, you do not have to fly on federal land. I fly in parking lots, school yards,etc. Depends on where you live. I know of a spot near my house that is several hundred acres. I… Read more»

Unfortunately, from a Club perspective, you may only launch on official launch days due to our permit from the National Forest Service who administers Pawnee National Grasslands. That, plus our negotiated waiver with the FAA means that your flights are… Read more»

I believe I can answer some of your questions. As long as you are launching a “G” or smaller motor, you can fly anywhere that is allowed.As for launching at either of our launch sites, you cannot launch at those… Read more»
