James- I have 54mm Contrail Motors. This rocket can use either the 28inch or 36inch casing and a J reload. I have the NOX tank and solenoids. I planned on a 24volt igniter with two 50 grain pyorodex pellets.

you will need to make sure you have a snug enough of a fit that it does not separate until motor is lit, the pressure of the motor lighting will pressurize the inter-stage coupler causing it to separate. You can… Read more»
