Did you sand and rough up the G-10 and then clean it with alcohol before attempting to glue the fins? Did the root of the fins have the same treatment?

What about 5 gallon buckets with lids full of water placed near the pads? Rip the lid off and pour! Or take the lids off when you get them out to the pads?
