I’m in for 250, that is there are takers.JS
I’m definitely not, as I can’t afford a risk like that right now. I need that money for my L2 project, which will fly next year at MHM probably.

Regarding the 2/3 launch — I’ll visit the Atlas site this weekend, but I can tell you that we’ve had very little melting up north and the last time I was out there, the cacti were not a problem (because… Read more»

Nothing different, although you will have to remove the motor so that it can be examined FOLLOWING the flight.Warren

Warren, I still have a few questions about the SSSS. Procedurally is there anything different about checking in with the RSO? In particular, will I have to remove the motor prior to flying? What about the electronics? I would have… Read more»

I’m in for the SSSS – I’ll pay the fee at the rocketry dinner (I can’t make the Feb. launch). I have something interesting planned, and I shouldn’t lose it this time because a tracker is allowed.

I use the same switches. I bought some rubber gromets (sp) at Radio Shack, cut one of the large ones in half and used it as an o-ring to to seal the hole between the switch and tube. Works great.

I agree about the switches Jim sells. They are highly reliable and have minimum protusion ouside the rocket. Here is the link http://www.missileworks.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MWC&Product_Code=MWC-SW-2&Category_Code=cat103020He also sells them in 5 and 10 packs with some savings.Doug
