I’ve gotten automotive paint at a little shop on Main in Longmont (can’t remember the name, though). It’s on the west side, near 1st.

You might check with Allen Paint on South Broadway in Denver. They carry 5-Star brand auto paint, which is a “fleet-grade” paint–lots less expensive than DuPont or PPG, or House of Kolor. I have used it, and it seems to…   Read more»

I too have an AMW 54/1750 that I would be happy to loan or sell if needed.

Like I said, I have an AMW 54/1750 and 54/2550 case I would be glad to loan. I also have an AT 54/1706 case which might be usable.

Just remember that oil and epoxy don’t mix… and surfaces with oil on them WILL separate from epoxy. I have experience (unfortunately) with this. Do the epoxy work on bare material that has been cleaned with denatured alcohol or acetone….   Read more»
