Thanks to all for the great work today. We made good progress on many fronts. The nosecones (main & outboards) are well underway, as is the 3rd stage.We laid out the electronics with Adrian and have a good plan there…. Read more»

For something this big we’ll want to use a bag. The parachutes open *extremely* fast and will put very high loading on the recovery harness if we let it free fall under the stopped chute. A deployment bag will make… Read more»

I could see using the Missleworks radio for the 2nd stage ignition and then using the TiltoMeter for the 3rd. Does anyone have one that they are willing to lend for this?-Adrian

Adrian, you could also use that Missileworks wireless system to enable 2nd stage and 3rd stage ignition or to force recovery. That does make it a manual operation, but it is likely a viable option.
