SteveAll those tubes that we stuck back up on the ladder, all nested together, may have somthing your looking for. I would have to look.

What length? Heavy paper or glass? How many? I will look and see.
The 54’s should be around 20″ each, I need 4The 75’s should be around 30″ each and I need 3Heavy paper.Thanks!

I know there is a launch this weekend but I’ll be working on the Proton again this Sat. More glassing and hopefully working on the motor mount assemblies. We have a grill and with have burgers or dogs for lunch.Let… Read more»

I need some more motor mount tubes, 54mm and 76mm .. anyone got any they want to sell/donate? I’d like to get them for this weekend if possible.Thanks! Steve

Awesome start to the project today. Rich Wallner and Kevin Osler came up and we got all 6 boosters and 3 main sections glassed with 7.5 oz cloth. Came out nice.Thanks Guys!! You did great!Rich, Me, Scott Evans, Kevin

Doesn’t appear that I’ll be able to make it today. An old friend passed away last week and there is a memorial service at 1 so I’ll be tied up.

I’m pretty sure Ed and I would like to loft the Saturn V again from your awesome pad.

Whatever you do with the outboards, make sure they are long burn… J90’s or Loki K250’s or similar. The Delta was underpowered and the M almost didn’t come up to pressure before the H’s burned out.

Sat, 1/28/12, 10am to ….Longmont, COWe’ll be glassing tubes and building the Booster motor mount/fin assembly.Glassing can be messy .. dress accordingly.PM me if you plan to come so I can get you my phone and the location.Steve

Just remember not to exceed 40,960 total installed Ns or plan on taking the project elsewhere, or doing a pile of paperwork. Our waiver’s are specifically for Class One and Class Two rockets. A Class Three project is a whole… Read more»
