I think this is the most recent updated Certified list from NAR/TRA. The G55 that shows up on this list is the West Coast Hybrid. Still an awesome motor and could be flown on research days.

That is interesting... I wonder why the G55s would be on the TRA page? For kicks, I looked for the Aerotech I69, as it was a similar vintage motor that expired. The I69 is not listed - which seems to add some credence to the validity of the list?

The Aerotech SU H125W's that I got from Vaisala are also off-list now, but would be great research-day altitude motors.

The list from the TRA link seems hopelessly out of date. Just look at how many F and G class motors (even from Aerotech alone) that are missing, but are commonly available.

Actually, I think the I69 wasn't an Aerotech load but an Ellis Mountain motor, may he rest in peace. Also an awesome motor. Lost a great rocket on the Salt Flats once flying one of those. Up and away and further up and away and away it stayed.

Yes, the list on the TRA site is antiquated - NAR updates regularly. Given the number of motors out there, certified and/or now expired, it's a wonder anyone can keep track of them all. Paul Holmes does a great job testing and certifying new motors and Bill Spadafora does an amazing job keeping the NAR/TRA/CAR list pretty much current and up to date.

What about the old FSI F-100? I gave you one of those, Joe. 😯

I have 2 or 3 old AT I69's and a half dozen G55's... one of these days I'll have to fly them.

Warren, the Aerotech I69 is a DANDY! ten second burn... The LOC EZI65 was designed specifically for that load. You oughtta burn that Ellis L330 at MHM - nice motor! It is still on the list. MHM? I will help you fetch -
