Nothing too exciting here. I'll be bringing some low and mid power stuff, and I'm hoping to continue my alphabet contest up through H or so.
There should still be NOX in the tank as long as the trailer gets there. I haven't checked in with Ed to see how the Volunteer pool is filling up but I'm confident we'll all find a way to make this launch weekend work out.
I'll be bringing part of/what's left of the store until the next re-supply and taking orders for Mayhem or at least making notes of everyone's wish list. I'm still not clear on just how Tim did such an incredible job of predicting needs and getting product delivered on time. For what it's worth, all of the L3 Promo orders are now in transit and I will be able to ship/deliver after this weekend becomes history.
I can tow the trailer out on Saturday, but someone else will need to tow it back Sunday afternoon. I need to replace my tent before any overnighters.
Hey guys,
Should be a blast, very excited about the weekend. Flying my dad out from Kansas, he's heard me talk alot about rockets, so will be great to whooo him with the actual sound and bare eyes. Little DD Blue Dawg is ready for launch, can't wait to see her fly.
Ill be flying the same ol stuff with the addition of my completed 1/2 and 1.5 upscale colonial vipers. Hope to have my 3x viper, 3x yellow jacket,
2x orbital inteceptor done by MHM.

After all its been stuffed in and ready to go since last month. 😀
Adrian, speaking of waiting for things to hit the books, I'm still waiting for my TRA record "H" 2 stage flight from last August to hit the books. I've resent in my application, send numerous emails... still waiting. If this 2 stage 29 flight goes well it will qualify for the "I" staged record... so maybe thatll get posted sometime in 2011? It would be really cool to have a couple of records set all in the same day. -Sean
Don't hold your breath - my understanding is the altitude records committee is still in a bit of disarray since Erik Gates' passing and that final rules have not yet been decided upon.

Yep, and Tom Rouse is the competition committee chair again...

Speaking of which, what was the final altitude readout from your attempt, John? A bit over 14K if I remember correctly.

14,188'..... BTW, Sunday would have been the day to do the shots - it was REALLY calm. Wonderful day! Altitude shots are hit-and-miss. I was very fortunate and I'm grateful for the results. It surely doesn't always work out they way you'd like it to.
I look for a 16K shot on an I at our field this year. I also predict the F, G, H, I, J, K, and possibly L Tripoli records fall due to the new CTI motors. Many of those shots will be on our home field, and many of them by visitors coming here to take advantage of our great site and windows.
