Just a heads-up... the August launch is a ONE DAY gig, Saturday, August 1 only (the calendar on this site isn't accurate). It is also worth noting that there is no NCR September launch.

Please consider using the September hiatus to visit our friends at Hartsel - they have a glorious launch site.

There will also be a September cleanup day so our equipment is all sparkly and workable for Oktoberfest. The date is TBD.

Joe will follow up on all this later. I'm posting here and now as several folks have been discussing flying on 8/2 offline, and that isn't in the cards due to a variety of reasons.

Thanks for the shout out, John! Just to let everyone know, the Tripoli-Colorado "Fall Fling" launch will be on September 12 and 13 at Hartsel. Although there is no on-site camping, there are plenty of places nearby to camp, including the country store about 5 miles east of the launch site. A bunch of us will camp out at Round Mountain, which is about 10 miles east of the site, just off of highway 24 (east of Wilkerson Pass). There are also accomodations nearby in Fairplay and Buena Vista. Hope to see lots of you there in September!
