NCR has been invited to participate in the International Learn to Fly Day beening held on Saturday May 18th from 9:00am till 3:00pm. This will be held at the Greeley-Weld County airport and is hosted by Experimental Aircraft Association chapter EAA 1117 http://1117.eaachapter.org/
Although the event is intended to bring interest to new and potential pilots, the EAA supports flying of all types.
This could be a good outreach opportunity for NCR,NAR and TRA and a chance to veiw some very intersting aircraft and meet the people who build and fly them.
If anyone is interested in spending some time talking and showing off rocketry at this event please post here or talk to me at Saturday's launch.

Still looking for volunteers to join me at this event.
There would be no cost to NCR and we have been offered space in a hanger to display some rockets and show the public what we do.
I know this is a busy time of the year for most of us, but this event could spark interest in a city close to our launch sites and create some new memberships at a time when NCR could really use some extra $$.
Airplane Rides for 10$ !! Fun for the whole family.
Do to the governments sequester there will be no military aircraft on display for this event.
Post here or PM me.
The International fly day went very well despite a modest size crowd.
Thanks out to Joe Hinton, Larry and Max Haynes. We had rockets from A to M and this generated quite a bit of strong interest. Max was great with the other kids and at one point had at least 10 watching, listening and asking questions. It was fun to watch. Joe brought rocket magazines to give a way and the kids were grabbing them like candy.
Expect some new faces at our next launch and maybe some new members.
