For anyone interested, there will be an ISS and Space Shuttle pass tonight at 5:49 pm beginning NW and ending SE. It's a -3.5 directly overhead. Should be really good since the Shuttle undocked from the ISS this am.

I got to see the ISS and the Space Shuttle tonight at around 6:14 this wonderfull Thanksgiving Day
We saw it yesterday - 5:48 to 5:51 or so. With these huge birding binoculars my ex-wife gave me many years ago, you could just barely see the shape of the solar array and the triangular shape of the Orbiter.

Yup, we watched it this evening as well. I think it's incredible to see the two bright dots in the sky following the same course - and then think about what that really represents. It's truly amazing.
Makes you want to wave at them. 😉
While this might be TMI, my wife one time flashed them as they went orbiting by... She figured that they had to have a camera good enough to get a pic. See what home brew beer'll do... I'd calm her down, but she's the one who brews the beer.
