New minimum dia. bird. Cesaronies new 75mm Maxi "M" load. The bottom pic is sqwished, its longer than it looks 8)
Very.....Veeerrryyy cool
Very nice Scotte, that looks screaming fast!
Very, very cool.
Is this flyable at NCR, or do you need somewhere like LDRS this year or Black Rock?
Dont know. Have not simmed it yet. 😕 Didnt know how much it would weigh finished. I assumed it would be fine. ??
A 75mm large M has a decent shot at >35k. I'd definitely sim it with RASaero and see what it says.
Scott, I think you will probably break 35K with that Bessie 8)

If it sims that high, I guess I will see you at LDRS. 8)
I will have to buy a shorter motor for Mayham.
I have not been real worried about it ......DO TO LACK OF RAIN! 😥
By the way, I need another coupler. I used the one I got from you for this Rocket.
Well......According to RASAero
Mach 1.75 and just over 30,000 With a boat tail it would push 34 or 35, but I dont have one.
Some one can tell me if this all looks right, or if I am missing something.
First time I have used this one.
Make sure your launch site is set for 5400, and the temperature is realistic. Double-check the mass and you should be good to go.
Out of curiosity, why the M1545 green? The M2020 Imax is more powerful, smaller, and lighter.
Oh, and the sim looks fine to me. I'm a bit surprised it isn't higher, but as long as the site altitude and temps look realistic, I'd say you're good to go.

Because its green 😉
Didnt see the other one till now. Thanks... I was happy.
Now I feel cheated out of a few nanos 🙁
Or the new M840 long-burn white motor that fits the Pro75-6G hardware...that would be impressive!

I played with the sim a little more today.
Actually it does sim over 40, fully optimized. It would have to have the right boat tail and shorter body tube. I am not sure how much shorter the tube could really be though and still take along a parachute! Stability would have to be considered too.
The M2020 doesnt really go any higher, just a little faster. The rocket weighs just about 5 pounds with out chutes and ebay stuff. So I was guessing 10 to 12 with every thing. I had talked to Mr Billings about making a boat tail for it a few months ago, but I never persued it because I didnt know where it was at. Now I do.
For NCR the sim says a FLAT BUTT and the longer tube will keep it in line.
Part of the reason I posted the sim, was so people didnt think I was just putting it up there, with out having a clue what it was gona do, considering the question was raised. 🙂 Right Joe. 😉
This is all assuming the flight is straight and it doesnt rip a fin off any way. That hasnt always been my luck. 😕
Should be a good picture to hang on the wall any how.
If you lose a fin during a stable boost - even at Mach 2, I'll rebuild it for you and maybe even buy you another motor. Those fins are ON there and ain't coming off. (Unless you sanded through the carbon that is)
