Rocket Group:
I appreciate being able to discuss Colorado rocketry events. NSL is shaping up well. I thought I would let everyone know that I was able to get the waiver for NSL boosted up to 12,000 feet above ground level instead of just the 10,000 ft. advertised. The night launch waiver is 8,000 ft. above ground level for the night launch on May 26, Sunday.
The main thing we need now is help filling the positions for the launch. See the NSL website for details on what help is needed. I encourage everyone to help us out because our core members are not that numerous. Motel rooms which were reserved are running out soon, so if you need one I encourage you to make your reservations right away. Be sure to sign up for the dinner. Bill Stine and Vern Estes will be speaking and there will be a display of hundreds of the Estes photographic models which were used for the Estes catalogs over the years. We have a special room at the restaurant reserved to display them. Also there will be a real live Loki Wasp on display which came from Wallops Island and was donated by a retired aerospace engineer who lives in Pueblo. This is just a quick email while I am working. I will have more to say on the weekends.
