I can donate $20.00 to the cause.
Very kind of you, Mike. But I must take care of my family first, then rockets. 😉
I hope you still plan to be there Bruce. As we all know it's a great time regardless of what you are or aren't doing.
I'm not sure. I haven't missed one in four years. I have the money, but I don't know about the future. Whether I can make it or not depends on any good news this week. Any hint of possible employment then I might be able to fly or at least come. I just can't let Tim hold any motors for me until I know for sure. No big deal. Might be down temporarily, but I'm definitely not out. Now, back to who's flying what. 😉
I've got a J350 reload in my magazine with your name on it if you want it Bruce.
Warren
Thank you, Warren. But I have one. I appreciate that. This is why I love this club. We give each other crap until someone needs something, then we all join in to help out. 😉 I'm doing okay, just actually need to make a mature decision... for once. 8) I may be able to pull a McCain... say one thing and do another. We'll see what the week brings.
I will post for two people that are not on this forum and I guess I have things pretty much finalized for my flights as well, so here goes...
-I know that Scott Harless will be flying his Beast on a Russell Red 98mm N motor Sunday morning early, around 8:00 or 8:30.
-Cliff will be flying his Prometheus, also on a Russell Red 98mm N motor later Sunday.
-Friday I will be reattempting my 1,2,3 in one day, in one rocket using Cheaper Than A Girl 3. I540 White Thunder, K570 White Wolf and an M1297 White Lightning.
-Saturday, as previously mentioned, Doug and I will be making our third attempt at the drag race in hopes of getting that good shot! Doug's little Freeze Frame should catch BAMF in action on an M2500 Green Gorilla.
-Finally, I will be flying BAMF a second time on Sunday with a 75mm hard-hitting Russell Red N motor.
That is it for now, tune I this weekend to see what happens.
Art
Bruce, it is a little late for Oktoberfest but I still owe you one so let me know what MHM looks like for you.
As things get better, MHM will be possible, and yes, I'll definitely take you up on that! Thanks, James.
Monday. My Mom has been staying with us this summer. She handed me $60 with these words: "Life is short, go to the launch, besides they could use your help." Hey, who am I to argue with my last surviving parent? I'm there, most likely Friday about noon. I couldn't miss Jason's L3 anyway. 😉
For my dad and I Sunday will be the day. Including, Argos on a EX M/N Polish Rojo, my SSSS rocket on a eight grain Wimpy Red, and possibly a 2550 load.
Here's an update on my little 2-stage 24mm rocket:
I'll fly it with an F28-E6 combination on Saturday, which could go 9k-10k. Then if I haven't lost it yet, I'll put a bigger motor in it, G37-E6, which could go over 14k if all goes well.
Doug and Art,
What's the status of Odyssey?
Was hoping for a P motor Sunday!
Ken
Wow, looks like everyone has big plans for Sunday. Too bad the weather isn't looking as nice. 😕
I will probably only be able to make it up for Saturday, but am planning on launching my 6" red rocket on a K-1275 or similar, and my 4" on a J-570 or small K. Look forward to seeing you all there!
-Adam
