There were 2 P51D's and 1 P51B
Great photos! It would be nice if the Fort Collins/Loveland airport would host the airshow every year. I can't remember how long ago the last one was (5-6 years?). That was always one of the perks of being Army Airborne...we participated in a lot of the major national airshows and of course we always held the big tactical demonstrations at Fort Bragg that were open to the public. I miss getting that close to the amazing aircraft. While I wouldn't trade the Colorado lifestyle to get it, it would be nice to have a few of the amenities that the more densely populated areas get at times. I'll have to do some digging but while I was growing up in Lake Tahoe the Blue Angels would practice regularly over the lake and I have lots of pics of them as well as the other shows I was at if anyone is interested.

John,
Don't forget that the Thunderbirds visit the Cheyenne airshow. I've taken the kids and they had a great time. (me too.)
Thanks for the info. I didn't realize they had an airshow in Cheyenne.
