I was at Oktoberfest all of Friday and Saturday till 3:00.
Many, many great flights.
What a great time. Thanks to all that helped get Me in the air.
😆
I would like to thank Mike, Art, Warren, and especially Justin for their help with my equipment this weekend. I'll apologize in advance if I forgot anyone, I know there were others. I really don't think I could have done it without the wonderful support of NCR. See you guys in May`with new movies.
Doug
Doug, your movies are the GREATEST! Thanks. This was absolutely one of the best weekends ever for flying. Not a cloud in the sky on Friday with very little wind and Saturday was nearly as good. And the timely arrival of ISS and Irridium at the same time Friday night was incredible!
What more can I say.

We had great flying Sunday as well. Most people had gone due to the high winds later Saturday evening, but for those who stuck it out, Sunday turned into one great day of flying. Sponge bob did not go up due to I was missing a couple parts for the motor retention and the winds at 10,000 feet where 220 knots but on the ground where nil.
James R was the first rocket up and launched BIG EX on a M wimpy red to 17,000 feet and his main came out early. We saw the rocket all the way down but it was lost and still looking to point of every one leaving (3:30pm) and it looked to be several miles NE of the field. I hope he found his rocket.
I personally had five out five successful flights on EX motors as well as Conway flew several of his creations.
Unfortunately as of last night at about 6:30 or so, it's still missing.
James Big EZ boost on his Russel Red formulation was quite nice. Very strait. To bad of its loss. I plan to spend some time within the next week to go back out and look for it some more. Mike I loved all your motors man. Nice Purple..
I to was 5 for 5 with motors ranging from K to M. Scott Harless flew my M1980 and backed up his L3 cert from Friday to just about the same in altitude. It was a great time. Those that bailed early definitly dont know what they missed as the weather was great on Sunday.
Hey Conway, thanks again for the boost! For those that missed it, Mr Conway's Loudmouth Blue formula is great to watch and even more fun to fly. Beautiful motors.
Thanks Dave, And your Welcome. We will have to do it again some day maybe a bit bigger?

It was my first research launch, and I was more than impressed! Conway, NOW I see why you said you've seen more CATO's with commercial motors. The Russell Reds and Loudmouth Blues were VERY IMPRESSIVE. Thank you for the show!
I have to say thanks as well to Conway for letting me fly that very nice Loudmouth Blue K500.

Yeah, Mr. Waiver-Maxer-Outer on a K660?! Way to go yourself, Jason.
And so, a rocket name is born....
Yeah, Mr. Waiver-Maxer-Outer on a K660?!

Yeah that what he says, it really only went to two thousand feet and he just added another zero...right Jason!
That phrase could be used in a Budweiser commercial!
Thanks to all that helped me get my Level I.
