I think it would be great if those that have things that need to be put on that agenda/schedule for the day so as everything can be covered or determined if its something else that needs a different approach. I'm sure Joe and the rest of the Exec committee have all well in hand. But I do know of some items I have myself and after some discussions with others that they want to be sure to have approached. as well as some important announcements and potential things for the upcoming meeting. The only reason I have mentioned this is that time seems to fly by fast and soon it will be meeting time. I have not been asked if I had anything to present nor had I seen any suggested or potential agenda so figured I would make the first steps and try to be proactive. Hope thats cool.

I just got off the phone with Joe. The agenda will be pretty much identical to last years agenda. Aside from the various reports by the President, Treasurer, Membership, Volunteer, Web, Equipment, and Contests departments, there are a couple specific topics up for discussion and decisions by the membership.

- A new trailer. The current trailer we have has got an maximum weight limit of 2000#. Our last weigh-in, just before Octoberfest, was 3876#, so we are running approximately double our weight limit. Space-wise, the existing trailer is a bit tight as well. Options are: A) Buy a new, larger, tandem axel trailer. B) Get a second trailer to hold excess and large event equipment. C) Repair our existing trailer and strip our equipment down to what fits the load limits. D) Do nothing.

- New Contest Ideas

- Any other items that the Membership brings up.

I think it would be appropriate for the membership to start a thread listing other items that should be addressed during the annual meeting.

Thanks !! Guess I will start a public thread then and ask away. unless one of the Exec committee would prefer to. How about positions open for election? what all positions are there for NAR and TRA spots or just club related positions. and is anyone new running for them?

And yes I am interested in running for a spot myself is why I ask. I think its time some of the members step up. What a better way to show then to do it. I do appreciate all that the current and past members have done but its not very fair to them to have them do all the work year in and year out. But thats my personal take. If people dont step up then how will a club survive and thrive.
