I was thinking now might be a good time for me to get some casings cheap, I really like the CTI design, clean up and ease of use from what I've seen.
Here's what I was thinking:
Pro-X 38mm
1G Case
3G Case
5 or 6G Case (recommendations?)
I'm basically looking to get the 1G for sport flying on G's, the 3G for when I do level 1, and the 5 or 6G for level 2 in the future. It seems like a good sale, thoughts?
Would anyone want to go in on the order to save shipping?
From the site:
# You may combine an order with another individual to minimize shipping costs.
# ALL parties' information must be supplied.
# To minimize your shipping, you may mix and match any propellant of a given size.
# This is a VERY LIMITED offer that will expire on 08/15/2008.
*Edit - Tim is this something we could organize through you as well?
I need a 6G case and I'm interested in the group order idea.
I have a general question about the CTI motors though - I've only flown 1 and I used motor ejection. What do you do on a rocket with dual deploy - is there a plug you buy to replace the delay or do you have to turn the existing plug to zero? Ideally, I'd like to find a plug that I could put an eye bolt in but I don't know if CTI supports that.
remove the paper cap and pour out the BP charge. I don't know of any threaded forward closure for CTI.

Great prices and products - save on shipping with pick up at LDRS. I'm mulling over the menu - too much to choose from. Always been partial to the 38's but the 54's are mighty tempting too. Maybe it's time again for the club to invest in hardware for the members to use/abuse/lose.

Tim-the Rocketman-Thomas says the Pro-75's and Pro-98's do have threaded closures. Doubt if the 38's and 54's do though, as you said, J. Ask Tim...
8)The Pro 38 and 54 cases do not have a way to connect an eye bolt to. The 75 and 98 hardware has a threaded foward closure. The AMW/ProX 38 MM hardware and loads are nothing more than Pro 38 products that have been relabled. The cases are the same and the loads. Any new loads, Blue or Skids will fit either case. You should know that to make this pricing work, the dealers have been cut out. In the short term, this is a great deal for the fliers. In the long term, this may be the end of CTI and AMW on site dealers. I will post more on the Venders Forum later. 8)
I'd be in favor of the club getting some cases for all NCR members to use. However we would need to come up with a good way of checking out the cases to make sure we don't lose track of where everythig is.
FYI the sales ends TODAY.
I just finished up an order for Jeremiah and myself since I hadn't seen any other firm commitments.
