Can anyone tow the trailer from Pierce this Saturday?
Also, the large tower is stored in my barn south of Longmont and we could use a volunteer to get it to the North Site. Do you have a pickup with extra space, or an SUV with a roof rack?
Ed
P.S. If someone is camping Friday then I could run everything up there that evening, but we still need someone to bring the trailer back at the end of the day on Saturday.
Ed, I'll be going up Friday and camping so I can pick up the trailor in Pierce. I can also stop by your house on Thursday or Friday to pick up the tower.
I will need to leave the North site on Saturday around 1:00 PM, so I will not be able to tow the trailor back.
Ken.
Hi Ed,
I can probably give it a tow back to Pierce Saturday afternoon. I imagine the tower needs to come back to your place - I can do that too.
Speaking of which, Ed, I need my battery charger back. Can you make sure it is either in the trailer or bring it to the launch?
Warren
Good news - thanks all.
We'll also need some help with LCO duty on Saturday. Hopefully everyone can chip in and we'll get everything launched.
Warren, I'll get your charger back - sorry I though that was the clubs. I'd like to get the original club's charger back too, when you get a chance. Perhaps we can get that fixed - or at least salvage the connectors.
Ed
Thanks everyone for stepping up and making the launch happen. I realize I didn't pass the petty cash bag to Jon Skuba, Launch Director in my absence, to reimburse trailer tows. It ain't much but helps offset the chore. And I think the original club charger died so we probably need to get a new one.
Ed, PM me so we can coordinate the tower pickup.
The original charger should be inside the orange range box, at least it's the last place I saw it. It is also possible that Dale has it.
