Scott, if I remember correctly, it is an 8K AGL waiver there, but they have call-ins that are pretty flexible and the call-ins allow for something like 14K AGL. It is an awesome group of guys down there.

Let me know if you are going for sure? I'd probably join you... I love flying there. Also, it isn't near as far as you think. If you want to go down the night prior, the Buena Vista KOA has some nice cabins for a fair price.

Weather can be a bit tentative down there (up there? 8,800' MSL) and it is worth keeping an eye on the conditions.

I'm planning on going if someone wants to carpool. It really isn't all that far, and you won't find many prettier places to fly. You will also see a number of familiar faces.
