Due to working till noon. And a short Dr's appontment of the wifes,
I will not be at the launch as planned. 😕
I sure will try to be at the 1/10 meeting.
I Drove up too, it was sunny in east Longmont when I left at 9:00.
I think I passed Scott E. heading back just west of the Atlas site on hwy 14 just after 10:00. Every one had left.
Strong winds and 26 degrees.

Apologies to all that made the trip out. Jon Skuba and I arrived about eight thirty to find Ken and John and Kaylee sitting in the warmth of their car, the trailer behind them. Thanks to the Reilly's for towing out and back. By Executive decision, We scrubbed shortly after nine when the weather service confirmed the wind and cold were going to be an all day thing. It was nice to visit the site but I couldn't for the life of me find the desire to stick around for too long or stay motivated enough to unload the trailer to set the Estes pads because there was no way I'd have been lofting anything greater than a B motor in that nasty north wind and I had serious doubts anyone else would as well. Maybe better launch conditions tomorrow with CRASH at Bear Creek. Maybe not.
Funny
On my way out, it didnt seam to get windy till just past Ault.
Got back to Longmont around 11:oo and it was calm still.
