Back when I started hanging out with NCR, I got laid off from Quantum. I got lots of support, contacts, and leads from the members here. Since then, I contracted with them, then got rehired.
Well, the economy is hitting us hard, just like all companies and I got let go again. I'll be sticking to LPR until further notice, but if anyone knows of companies hiring, let me know. I'm an EE specializing in component and product level test in the storage industry, but I'm very flexible. Something near Longmont/Boulder would be prime.

But wait, there's more. Thursday night,my wife was rear-ended, and our minivan will likely be totalled. Can anyone guess how much they'll give me for a 10-year old van? 😡
My wife is whiplashed, but ok. Luckily, no kids with her at the time.

Sorry to hear about BOTH of those things happening.
We are tightening our belts around here too and bracing for a big hit to the income. I can't be laid off, but they can cut my salary to where I will have to find PM job. That's kind of the way family businesses go though.
