I've just bought a house - a foreclosure in less than stellar condition and I have to move in to this place pretty soon. We've gutted it to the studs and at this point I'm a little stuck. I need a plumber who can work with gas - black pipe specifically - and modify the existing piping to accomodate a new gas range.
Secondly, I need a recommendation or a person who can do duct design for a forced air system as well as sell me and install a high efficiency furnace.
I need this person something like yesterday. The job site is in Pinewood Springs, partway between Lyons, Co and Estes Park, CO.

One of Bro-inlaws works on the plum and gas side. His Company just ran black pipe in our hangers at the airport. Good price too. I know they need the work.
He the lead man, but I can get a number for his boss/estimator or give them yours.
My other Bro-inlaw does HVAC for a Co. out of Frederick. Small town, small town prices.
They are good guys.
??????????????????????
I have not yet contacted the folks that Scott referred me to, but would like to keep my request out there to folks. I should clarify that I am particularly look for folks who want side-work rather than to work through their employer - I'm on a VERY tight budget and would much prefer to deal directly with a guy who actually does the job one on one than his boss or the owner of the company (except if the owner will give me a killer discount on a new furnace).
I need:
- a residential electrician of journeyman or master level to consult on how I do a service upgrade and get my new Square D Homeline panel hooked up. Also some minor questions and curiosities about standard practices.
- a plumber with tools and skills for modifying gas distribution piping inside a home. This implies he has a cutter and threading machine for hard black iron pipe. Also some consulting here on standard practices in residential DWV and copper supply line routing.
- Finally, an HVAC person who knows how to do heat-load analysis, and ducting design according to Manual J and Manual D and who can consult with me after looking over my house to recommend either an HVAC contractor to buy a new high-efficiency furnace and get it installed as well as to have my ducting re-worked and perhaps re-fabricated to accomodate headroom needs as well as additional rooms and ducts required.
If anyone has a line on folks such as these or a recommendation for a reliable, trustworthy HVAC contractor in the Longmont/Lyons/Estes Park market, please contact me ASAP. I need all three by end of day Wednesday. Prefer these to be folks you're either personal friends with and know well or who have at least done excellent work for you personally.
