Hmmm, a big ol lit object in the middle of nowhere flown off of a G motor for the SSS. Could make finding it easier. 🙂
Mr. WMusselman
You stated You would be at the North on May 2. I am off work all week.
If You are going to be setting up for MHM, tell me when to show up.
I would love to help in any way I can.
2nd - 3rd - 4th - 5th
I will be there all day the 4th. and 5th.
I probably won't head up to the North Site until mid-day Thursday the 3rd. That leaves 4 or 5 hours to set up the parking line, the flight line, unload the trailer and get the range set up and functional. All that of course is weather dependant. High winds or precipitation can definitely change those plans.
Tasks that need some volunteer work during set up are:
Setting up the flight line posts and rope.
Lining out reserved area for vendors and admin tent,
Unloading trailer and setting up range equipment
Setting up PA system
Setting out Pad # signs
Setting up LCO table, Whiteboard, range card holders.
I'll be towing the trailer up to the site, showing up I would guess around noon or 1 if past history holds true.
In addition to the setup jobs, NCR will also need LCO's, RSO's, Pad Managers, Admin tent folks to take registrations and sell t-shirts and hats, and especially folks to stick around and help tear down the range, pack things up, and do final cleanup on the site.
We're working on an updated volunteer page for 2007. You'll be able to email Volunteer@ncrocketry.org or webmaster@ncrocketry.org and offer your services for specific jobs and time slots.
