Scott, or anyone considering a large project, if you are seriously thinking about wanting to fly off of my pad and have me film it, please don't wait until OF to ask about it. I do a lot of preparation in advance and it is very unlikely I'll trow a rocket on and try to track it. There is some specific information I need to know about your project in order to do my analysis before the flight.

Let me see how the next week or two goes. It may be wishful thinking.
I have a big problem standing between me and completion, 'A JOB"
Its a 2 stage, powered by 2 98mm L610s. I know there not "M"s but is that still worthy? The 2 together cost like an "M"
I started to do some of the editing of the high speed film in preparation for Oktoberfest and I wanted to let everyone know that the liftoff of The Dream Is Alive will start a new record as the fastest liftoff (that I have recorded). There were 11 frames from ignition of the motor movement of the rocket. It was shot at 400 frames per second. Even rounding up to 12 frames that is 0.03 seconds from igniter firing to movement of the rocket. It is so fast that when you see it Friday night at the normal 24 frames per second, it takes only a half a second. So don't blink or you've missed most of it.
Now before some start talking about how fast a A10 starts moving a mosquito let me just say that I'm not filming a mosquito and unless you have proof, it doesn't count. Besides The Dream Is Alive weighed nearly 100 pounds. Congratulations to Art and to James who build the igniter.

Weird, I'm not use to quoting myself. I haven't had anyone contact me about possibly flying off my pad on Saturday. I have three flights planned for filming, one on Saturday and two on Sunday. Art and I are going to try our drag race attempt on Saturday. Many of my cameras I can get two flights per film load so I may have to pooch one up on Saturday to run out the film so I can reload Saturday evening.
So last call, so to speak. If you are planning on flying on Saturday afternoon and would like to go off my pad, please contact me so we can discuss the details. Thanks,
Doug
