A 38/1080 case is 18.8" w/o the aft closure. So, figure a nice round 19" That gets you a J570-J824 motor. Can we say kaboom....

Now, if you want to burn an EX motor with six 4" long grains, you need about a 28" long case. But, you would have to join the dark side to do that 😈

The case was for a J1500, 1500 Ns and a burn time of 1 second!

Yes. It was designed for the all carbon rocket from Shadow Composites. I don't know if James or anyone else could build the grains but you're welcome to borrow it. It tests a rockets integrity for sure. Just make sure your altimeter is rated for more than 50 g's....

Put a nose cone on it and duct tape some fins on.....

If you paint it pink, I'll make sure there is a lump of coal in your stocking from Santa this year. AND you will be kicked out of the he man club. I might just have to slap you with a glove or something of the sorts too.

I'm in it for the sound too 😛 There is nothing quite like a rocket going that fast, I love the whistle. Did you here the big one on Sat do it's whistle all the way up. Boosts like that are like standing 3' away from a train passing you. Tingles all over.....

That was it, I remember the Thor name. I though close only counted with horseshoes, hand grenades and something I won't say here. 😆 I did see him with a remote control unit trying to steer it at you......
BTW, I thought you had some 38mm cases? I don't have a 1080 case, biggest I have is for the J350. I'd like to get a 1080, but I'm going to get a hybrid setup if I can scrounge some money up.

I would love to, but haven't tested any of my grains and would want more experience under my belt before I borrowed something from someone. James has been really busy from what I have heard, so who knows what he can do.

You should of seen the Large Mouth Bass I caught once, it was 39" long too. Pulled the boat half way across the lake trying to land it. Swamped other fishing boats from out wake as we went by!
