This is My fleet (less 3) Ready to launch
Had to get my level one to get a motor large enough to launch it.
Nice fin fillets... say that three times fast. Any plans to put electronics in and do your L2 with it at some point?
Yes
Plan on extending it with an electronics bay and making it
duel deploy.
Need to hold off for funds. I will be ordering EB end of July.
May not try for my Level 2 this year. I got my Level 1 in May.
Getting My LEUP in July. Thats a lot in one Year.
Want to enjoy H and I's for a while.
Ordered a PET timer, should be here in a week. Hope to play
with a 4" air start by Oktoberfest. Maybe.
I also have an upscale of a mosquito to start on and a Expediter
to start on. ++ I still have not had a successful duel deploy with
my Hyperloc 300. Second try the next launch.
Plenty to do.
Plenty to do.
Always... 😉 That (and the rush from flight) is what makes this hobby great. NO ONE can ever know it all. We all just keep flying and learning.
No nose cone yet. Still coming from 'Scotglas' probably will be
here for the 21st. If not it will not fly till Oktoberfest.
Do not have a clearcoat on yet. It is about a 5.5 upscale.

No one was talking so I thought I would brake the silence.
Mike, that's one hell of a fleet! Can't wait 'til I have that many big birds to play with. Right now I'm a little stuck in LPR mode - bought a ton of kits and having too much fun to do any big birds for a little while (nevermind the Firestorm 54 I just bough from Tim for my L2 - it may sit for a little while). Anyway, I agree with you on taking it slow and enjoying each step along the way.
BTW, what kits do you have there? Or all they mostly home-built?
Can't wait to see 'em fly!
Greg R.
1/2 are scratch and 1/2 are kits. LOC Precision.
I have only been disapointed with one LOC kit. An EXPEDITER. Have
not built it yet.
It took me 3 years to build my BIG NUKE.
Thrift Building
Some of my best flyers have been made from 3" mailer tubes
purchased from Office Max. I would just buy the nose cones
and motor tubes. Made chutes, fins, and all with what I could
find.
I plan on doing this for years. No hurry building.
