Thanks to everyone that has signed up to volunteer at Oktoberfest!

If you have not yet had a chance to sign up and would like to help, please let me know what time works best. We still need LCOs, RSOs, and Pad Managers. The signup sheet can be seen at by clicking on the "Volunteer Schedule" on the left side of the web site. You need to make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off to see the schedule.

I know it's down on paper, but just a reminder that I'm LCO from 8 until noon on Saturday and will gladly go to 2PM if no one has signed up. I'll also do Friday AM LCO duty.

Ed,

Just saw the signup sheet. Why so few volunteers and always the same handfull of people? Doesn't everyone who wants to fly have to put in at least 2 hours during Oktoberfest or MHM? There are a few exceptions: vendors, TAPS/NAR L3CC's, whoever tows the trailer, etc.

I will volunteer some time on Saturday. I have 1 K flight planned (which is big for me) and I'm bringing my brother who is hoping for a L1 flight, 1 friend and 4 kids who all have estes experience but first time at a big launch so I want to be sure to help them have fun. Gotta drag new blood into the club ya know? I'll check the schedule Sat morning but regardless I will drop what I'm doing if we get in a bind.
