One of the photos from Balls is a featured photo on the official Weezer website. Shows Larry Haynes, myself and Doug Krohn next to our 3 stage rocket just before launch. All the stages were named after different Weezer songs: "Hash Pipe" "Troublemaker" and "El Scorcho"

Our 3 stage launched straight but hit some instability, either structural failure or ? at the mach transition and crashed. We relaunched the top 2 stages. Hit about 34,000 agl and mach 3 on the upper stage. All the paint was ablated and the "el scorcho" was completely gone. I guess Mach 3 will do that. Just wondering how fast it wouldve gone if all 3 stages had lit? Also impressive was the performance rocketry epoxy on the upper stage. No tip to tip or anything, just the black epoxy and the fins stayed on at Mach 3 and a rough landing with no main.
