Dear Friends and members of NCR,
We recently learned our son Zachary (5 1/2) has lymphoma and we have begun chemotherapy for him down at Children's in Denver. I know what a great community of rocketeers we have at NCR and I wanted to ask people to join me in prayer or extend your healing thoughts for a quick recovery for my son and that he will tolerate the chemo without any significant side effects so we can get back to launching rockets!
He has been diagnosed with Burkitts lymphoma, which is a very aggressive form, the good news it has a very high cure rate, however the chemo regimen is very aggressive and we will be down in Denver for the next 3-4 months receiving treatment. Hopefully, after that, we will be done with chemo and be able to attend MHM! Thanks, Sean

Hope the picture gets attached, otherwise if someone could PM me how to get a photo into the post I'd love to post a picture of him. Thx
Sean, a very good and dear friend of ours, Russ Anthony, survived this, or a similar form. We will all pray for your son and will welcome you BOTH back to the launch field!
Sean, Zachary is a tough kid and he will be shagging rockets in no time! That said, he has a tough haul ahead of him. There is nothing like seeing a child struggle. This will possibly be even tougher on you than it is on him.
I was glad to hear it caught so early, and from discussion it sounds like a cancer that can indeed be beaten.
Know you are in our prayers, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help!
