Hi everyone. I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you how anxious I am to pick up the hobby again. As some of you know, I have been living in Australia for the past year with no rockets whatsoever 🙁
I'm back and haven't really pulled out my rocket stuff yet from storage, but I'm looking forward to the Sept launch, hopefully, with Natalie and Neil.
Congratulations to everyone for such an excellent evaluation (main page); this reflects very highly on the club, IMO.
Anyway, greetings to those of you who I know, and I look forward to meeting the rest of you soon.

Welcome back. Can't wait to see some more of your gliders.

Welcome back Geof 😀
Good to hear that you're back, and I hope you had a great time in Australia. I look forward to seeing you and your gliders back at the launch site. Do you think you'll be trying your L2 again soon?
Not soon. I got my butt spanked pretty good on that one. If anyone wondered how far/deep it was from Pawnee NG to China by the shortest linear route, you now have a pretty good idea. Digging it out sucked.
Anyway, I'll play small for a while. Planning an Edmonds glider and fiddling around with stuff I packed away before I left. Got the kids a few little things.
I'm not sure about something else...having been gone for a year and letting my NAR membership lapse, do I need to do L1 again?
Geof
Only if your membership has been lapsed for at least a year. If it expired less than a year ago, you should be good to go.
Geof,
Welcome back! How was math in Australia? Are they backwards like the toilets?
