I flew eight and crashed three.
The 3EE GEE had only two engines light. Not repairable. Did salvage
the motor mount, chute and cone. There will be a 3EE GEE TWO.
The EZI-65. Nadine took a good picture of it on the pad with a CATO.
Has been trimmed down three inches and is ready to fly. I think I put
the delay in upside down. (The spacer should be against the grain not
the closure) OR some have said they had seen the same reload H210
do the same thing before. ??
Plan B..... I did not hook the chute to the air frame. It has a fin
repaired, 4" shorter but is ready to fly. I had two quick connects
one on the chute and one on the engine mount. When I reached
down to feel the link on the mount it was closed. I did not know I
had one on the chute also.
All others came out in perfect shape.
Thanks again for all the help.
If you put the spacer above the delay, that was certainly the problem. In all Aerotech motors, the spacer goes between the propellant and the delay, and the top of the delay should be flush against the top of the delay enclosure.
