I now know for sure I will not be at a launch till Oktoberfest.
I was going to bring My rocket at the Sept. launch but can not.
What will I be flying?
My Estes Solar Flare Upscale. I was going to keep it under
wraps but it is looking so cool I just had to show it off.
The band on the bottom will be much narrower and it
will be as close to the original paint scheme as I can get.
NAPA should be able to make rattle can paint pretty close.
I will not be two stage but will be duel deploy.
Maiden fleight on a J500.

This upscale work isn't as easy as it looks. I was playing with an Anubis (Launch Pad kit), but realize the fins may suffer the same fate as your upscale swift as I upscale it.
Might ask for your opinion on this, but guess I will not be seeing you until Oktoberfest.
That is probably one of the coolest rockets I have EVER seen!
I once saw a monster Astron "Sprite" upscale that... had a horrible ending. I hope your rocket fares better! Those ring assemblies have challenges when upscaled. That said, your ring is smaller and I think you will do great.

I'm always so impressed by these upscale projects that folks do. I'm still stuck in the land of 3FNC and 4FNC birds, usually minimum diameter.
