I've been away from TRF for a number of months and now I can't seem to log on. I'm darn sure I know my ID and password, but it doesn't work. Then I've tried their method for retrieving my password using my email address. First, my standard email address did not appear to be recognized. I switched to a secondary email and it seemed to be recognized but the scrambled words at the bottom were stumping me. There are two words, sometimes with caps. I tried matching caps, all lower case, space between words, no space between words...nothing worked. I tried Firefox and IE.
Does TRF dump people after a while? Does anybody have an idea about what I am doing wrong?

Well, depending on when the last time you visited TRF was, it is possible that when the whole site crashed around just before Christmas, you got lost in cyber space and now need to completely re-register/join again. TRF had a horrific CATO, basically lost everything and has been slowly building back a following of members.
I suspect that's case and not that you are doing anything wrong.
Yep, that explains it. I guess I'll start over. Thx.
TRF's cato screwed everybody. It will be a long time before the site is anywhere near what it was. ALL history was lost. Everyone's post count (including our very own Chris (CJL) ) started back at zero.
The loss of all the history really is the worst part. There was a great body of knowledge for newbies and experienced rocketeers. Coming from the industry of backup, I see it as inexcusable that they didn't back that stuff up. Maybe they needed more donations to keep it at that level.
