I was in Fort Collins today and picked up a
Aprl 'Rockets Magazine'
Some real good articals about the team.
I'm probably the only one who has not picked up the
mag.
There is also a Artical in the most recent (this months) Extreme Rocketry Magazine on the NCR Oktoberfest launch. good sized artical with some great pictures. So 2 publications coving 2 different stories about clubs, people or events involving Colorado rocketry groups.
Also as a Note We also took the Event Horizon Rocket to the Airport where it will be hanging from the ceiling for the next month on display as Part of a museum deal. Then after that I belive it goes to the Denver Museum itself.
I walked under Event Horizon at the airport today.
SWEET! The displays are extremly well done and the rocket looks way cool hanging where everyone walking to the A concorse has to see it. It was actually getting a lot of looks and attention.
If you're going to the airport --- go to the A concorse bridge!
Congratulations again, guys.
Here is a Picture for all to check out of us at the Airport after we got it in place. This is the team that went to New Mexico to represent at Xprize cup.
I do recommend if you are at the airport be sure to check it out.
The Xprize Team was
from left Troy Hummel, James Russell, David Tjarks, Joe Cowan, Art Hoag, Conway Stevens
I would like to say thanks To Art, Joe and Troy for letting Dave, James and Myself being a part of this night at the airport as well as a part of the Event Horizon experience as part of the team and the great trip to Xcup.
If you haven't gotten your edition of Rockets Magazine this month be sure to do so as Art wrote a great article on the Xprize Cup and the experience there.
Good Job Art!!
