I will have no problem towing the trailer Saturday 12/3.
To and From.
Looking at the weather forecast on Saturday, with a slight chance of snow and a high forecast to be 34 degrees, ( probably afternoon) would anybody be interested in a coffee pot being at the launch and kept going?
I can make it happen, if desired. Any suggestions that will help keep people warm possibly as a group, and not just the regular individual efforts?
The offer of coffee is appreciated but exercise chasing rockets is how I plan to stay warm. Pretty sure Jon and I are lofting the Falcon on a cluster of I's.
And I've got a lot of Alphabet Cloning to do.
I had to make another run to Minnesota but will be there on Saturday. This will be my first time to introduce myself and I would not miss it for the world. I want to inspect the launching and hybred equipment available. But most of all, get to know some new friends.
My last move from Minnesota had the trailer and car filled beyond capacity and I was forced to leave my rockets and other RC toys behind. Obviously I had to make one last trip for these essential items!
Glad you are keeping the priorities straight!
Dress warm folks. Accuweather is forecasting for Briggsdale on Saturday for the high to be 24 degrees, 30 % chance of snow showers, possibly 1-3" accumulation, and the real feel to be about 4 degrees. Some might consider these to be dangerous conditions, so don't leave any skin exposed, dress in layers, and bring back-up clothing. I know a lot of you know this already, but in the excitement and anticipation of a rocket launch, I wanted to remind you of what you already know. You might also desire to have your fuel tank in your vehicle above the halfway point when you get to the launch site. Better safe than sorry. Bonfire anyone?
If the temp is below 50ish, you won't see me.
