2.5 upscale of a Der Red Max.
3/4 done
38mm motor mount. First flight probably on a J285.

Two other projects in the works.
1. 4" Quark (upscale) For Ron D's trade off
2. 4" Mamma FOO (Mamma of Mini FOO)
Does this mean that I have to start my 5.5inch Swift 220?
Ron
mmmmmm 😈 yes.
Why stop at 5.5 (it probably is the perfect size)
I did an 8" and will again.

if I had used just one motor, not four. It would not have lost the fins. 😯
Why not go over the top and do a 12" or so.
That is the cleanest and most organized hobby room I have ever seen!
Yes, please tell us that's your place of employment and not your rocket workshop!!!
We will all yell No Fair, otherwise!

It's work....... would be nice........ Can not do much there. Customers
may get the wrong idea.
If that was your rocket shop, we need to talk.
My wife will not enter my rocket area -- too messy.
Some things just work out ever so well 😉
Nice Rocket.
Still love your Solar Flare!
I share My 'Rocket Room' With: Washer/Dryer. Three Cats. Furnace.
Hot Water Heater. Computer.
All my rockets have cat hair someplace in the paint, or glue. It may
just make them stronger.
Great MOON out tonight.

If I had cats, I don't think I'd want them to be stronger. 😉
Sneak into my paint jobs.
My worst ignominy was fresh bird crap on my rocket as the paint was drying out doors.
For the most part ready to fly. A little fine painting, shock cord
and chute.

Hey Mike were you get them de-cals.
I like the skull.
And how does that thing fit on that stand? 😉
Paint not decals.
I have only made one rocket that had decals, (4" Thor-x)
all the rest have been paint.
The extended motor mount is about 1/8" below the fin length.
It stands by it-self.
I am not happy with the red paint. I used engine paint. Came
out pretty hard and brittle. Hope it does not chip off on landing.
A pretty easy build.
The three inch QUARK is turning out to be a challenge. Ron D.
did a great job on His. Not much room for anything in the air
frame.
All done except motor mount.
