I saw someone at MHM walking around with a bodacious black brush that looked perfect for scrubbing airframe.
Was in Dennis B. or James R.?
I'd like to know where to get these. I just scrubbed my fiberglass rockets with laundry detergent and water to remove the black powder grunge. (Works on Kevlar too!) I always use pistons and keeping the airframe clean is needed after two or three launches. I would have loved one of these brushes.
Thanks!
Seems to me the big bottle brushes are not common items but can be occasionally found in the equestrian and bovine sections of vet supply stores and/or Grainger's for idustrial plumbing cleaning. Big bristle brushes are great for removing the loose grunge.

Look under the duct and flue brushes.
Thanks for the info. They're reasonably priced too!
The brush that I use is a 4in pipe brush and I also have a wheel brush that I use for my 54mm
McGuckins in Boulder has a variety of larger sized bottle brushes. I have several for cleaning birds and motor cases from 38mm to 98mm. Bigger than that you'll need to look at chimney brushes.
