For the moment, there is still no officially announced warning or Ban in place but the probability is growing. March is supposed to be a wet month for the State and so far nothing significant.

When we ventured out to the Atlas site earlier this month - it was very dry - tinder dry. Moisture in the soil was down about four inches - not a good sign.

"Launches are not permitted if a Fire Weather Watch or Red Flag Warning is posted for an area that includes the launch site(s)."

Further stated in the Permit - "The Forest Service may determine that fire conditions are too dangerous for launches, even if no restrictions, watches or warnings are in effect, and order the cancelling of a scheduled event or cessation of launches at an event."

"Even if no restrictions, watches or warnigs are in effect and the Forest Service allows launches to take place, the Holder needs to evaluate the on-site fire conditions and determine if it is safe to launch."

We are all supposed to be praying/dancing/what ever for significant precipitation.

South/East Wyoming has been having warnings for a few
weeks.

BUT..

We get our most moisture SNOW/RAIN from now thru May.

There is no news that that is going to change.

PLUS. My roof is slotted to get done the end of April or the
start of May. I have had bad luck getting My roof done....So
I am confidant that it will get Rained/Snowed out. 😯

AND. The friends at work know I am stressed because I have
not launched. So they are dancing/praying REAL hard to get
the moisture they need to get me UN-Stressed. 😀
