As many of you know, Neil Armstrong doesn't grant many interviews. He recently did an interview in Australia that was presented in four parts. Not anything earth shattering, but it still held my interest, being an Apollo junkie. You can see it here:

I particularly enjoyed the side by side presentation of the LM video during the landing with Google Moon footage with Neil's commentary (contained in part 4 of the interview).
That's a great sequence, and a good interview.
It's amazing - every time I watch or listen to that landing sequence I find that I'm holding my breath (even though I know how it ends).
Great interview and one of the very few he's ever given. Fascinating especially to hear him narrate the landing sequence. I grew up through Apollo and am still a total addict. One of my great disappointments was that he didn't participate in the documentary "A Shadow on the Moon" when pretty much every other surviving lunar astronaut did.
I just finished watching it and it still brings tears to my eyes over 40 years later to see the landing. Such promise, such potential - and politics has pissed it all away.

Neil did give them a little time on "When We Left Earth" which was not too long ago... released in 2008. While not super in-depth, it did have some high quality video and quite a bit of candid interviewing with the astronauts and high profile guys like Gene Krantz.
