I will be happy to tow the trailer Saturday morning. I will have to leave by
two or so Sunday so can not tow back. If someone is towing Friday my hat is
off to you. Thanks
I am getting a rocket ready to fly with an L800.
This will be the first time I use a spacer. I am using a four grain case with
a three grain motor.
CESARONI 4G case. Forward closure has and anchor for shock cord. Any problem running the cord through the spacer?
Any suggestions?
Or what is a common mistake to look out for when using a spacer.
Thanks for volunteering Mike - see you and the trailer Saturday morning. If you have difficulties with the trailer out Sat. AM, let me know. We'll find someone else to tow it back on Sunday. I'd volunteer but I think I'm towing a toilet. Haven't received the confirm yet but am told we'll have a unit available.
Shock cord thru the spacer should pose no problems but would you rather borrow a three grain case? Let me know. Weather forecast looks hot and clear last time I checked. Should be a good weekend.
NCR will be broadcasting live from the LCO table!
I've got a list of "hopefully" unused frequencies but I'll have to check them out when we get there. There should be plenty of power to cover the immediate field.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Ted
I was out near the launch site and boy were the black flies annoying.
I recommend long pants, since they seem to favor ankles, and bug repellent.
The prairie is still pretty green, though.
Ted, as several of us are using TeleGPS etc. we do need to coordinate frequencies better.
Thanks for the recon. Black flies are a real nuisance.
I'll post a sign up sheet by the LCO.
One thing Bdale and Keith often do is to use their telegps to monitor other flights. Nice to have backup in case your laptop/phone takes a break at the wrong time. Feel free to let me know before you fly and I'll enjoy tracking your flight.
Ted.
